BATA INDIA share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 951 (up 0.2%).

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG Index is at 12,166 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG Index today are BATA INDIA (up 0.2%) and P&G HYGIENE (up 2.2%).

BATA INDIA Financial Update...

BATA INDIA net profit grew 21.1% YoY to Rs 826 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 682 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 18.3% to Rs 8.0 billion during the period as against Rs 6.7 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, BATA INDIA reported 26.6% increase in net profit to Rs 1.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.4 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 2.0% to Rs 25 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BATA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 49.4x.
