APOLLO HOSPITALS Surges by 11%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.2%

APOLLO HOSPITALS share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 1,049.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,394 (down 0.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today is APOLLO HOSPITALS (up 10.8%).

ICRA LTD and AKZO NOBEL are among the top losers today.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,531 to 37,781, registering a gain of 6,250 points (up 19.8%).

APOLLO HOSPITALS Financial Update...

APOLLO HOSPITALS net profit down at Rs 602 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 674 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 0.8% to Rs 19.1 billion during the period as against Rs 19.0 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, APOLLO HOSPITALS reported 53.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 887.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 1.9 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 16.7% to Rs 73 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of APOLLO HOSPITALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 56.5x.
