DCM SHRIRAM Surges by 10%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.5%

DCM SHRIRAM share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 470.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,303 (down 0.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today is DCM SHRIRAM (up 10.3%).

BAJAJ HOLDINGS & INVSTMENT and RAJESH EXPORTS are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DCM SHRIRAM has moved up from Rs 438 to Rs 470, registering a gain of Rs 32 (up 6.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 14,167 to 15,303, registering a gain of 1,136 points (up 6.8%) during the last 12 months.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 32,424 to 37,531, registering a gain of 5,107 points (up 14.5%).

DCM SHRIRAM Financial Update...

DCM SHRIRAM net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 15.9% to Rs 20.7 billion during the period as against Rs 17.8 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, DCM SHRIRAM reported 83.8% increase in net profit to Rs 5.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.0 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 21.6% to Rs 61 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DCM SHRIRAM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.6x.
