COX & KINGS Plunges by 9%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.4%

COX & KINGS share price has plunged 9% and is presently trading at Rs 167.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,461 (down 0.4%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are COX & KINGS (down 8.6%) and KEI INDUSTRIES (down 5.3%).
INDIABULLS HOU. FIN. (up 7.5%) and YES BANK (up 5.0%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, COX & KINGS has moved down from Rs 271 to Rs 167, registering a loss of Rs 104 (down 38.5%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 13,550 to 14,461, registering a gain of 911 points (up 6.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were HEG LTD (up 256.7%), SONATA SOFTWARE (up 145.7%) and L&T INFOTECH LTD (up 143.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 36,292 (down 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 5.0%), INFOSYS LTD (up 1.5%) and TCS (up 1.0%). Other gainers include SBI (up 1.0%) and COAL INDIA (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,932 (down 0.2%). INDIABULLS HOU. FIN. (up 6.0%) and YES BANK (up 5.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,282 to 36,292, registering a gain of 5,010 points (up 15.7%).
COX & KINGS Financial Update...
COX & KINGS net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 775 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 62.0% to Rs 21.8 billion during the period as against Rs 13.5 billion in April-June 2017.
For the year ended March 2017, COX & KINGS reported 29.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.3 billion during FY16.
Revenue of the company grew 4.4% to Rs 72 billion during FY17.
The current Price to earnings ratio of COX & KINGS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.9x.
