Indian Stock Market Updates October 1, 2018

The BSE REALTY Index Down 3% ; DLF LTD Among Top Losers

The BSE REALTY Index has plunged 3% to 1,693.

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today are DLF LTD (down 5.9%), INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 5.6%) and UNITECH (down 4.9%). Other losers include HOUSING DEV. INFRA (down 4.8%) and SOBHA LIMITED (down 2.9%).

GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 0.6%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 0.1%) are among the top gainers today.

In the meantime, the NIFTY REALTY has plunged 3.3% to 219.

The top losers in the NIFTY REALTY include J.KUMAR INFRA (down 20.0%), LANCO INFRATECH (down 14.3%) and NILA INFRA. (down 11.3%). Other losers include DB REALTY (down 9.6%) and GPT INFRA (down 8.9%).

Over the last one year, the BSE REALTY Index has moved down from 2,017 to 1,693, loss of Rs 324 (down 16.1%).

The top losers among the BSE REALTY during this same period were HOUSING DEV. INFRA (down 64.5%), UNITECH (down 61.4%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 59.5%).

What about the Benchmark Indices?

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex has plunged 0.6% to 36,292.

Among the top gainers in the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 3.1%), YES BANK (up 2.8%) and WIPRO (up 2.3%). Other gainers include INFOSYS LTD (up 2.2%) and HDFC (up 1.6%).

The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and INFOSYS LTD.

In the meantime, the NSE Nifty is at 10,932 (down 0.9%).
