HIND. CONSTRUCTION Surges by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.3%

HIND. CONSTRUCTION share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 11.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 1,693 (down 1.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is HIND. CONSTRUCTION (up 5.1%).

SOBHA LIMITED (down 1.5%) and HOUSING DEV. INFRA (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HIND. CONSTRUCTION has moved down from Rs 33 to Rs 11, registering a loss of Rs 22 (down 65.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,017 to 1,693, loss of 324 points (down 16.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were OMAXE LTD (up 11.5%), PHOENIX MILL (up 6.0%) and SOBHA LIMITED (up 1.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 36,535 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 9.9%), TATA MOTORS DVR (up 4.0%) and ICICI BANK (up 3.3%). Other gainers include TCS (up 3.0%) and SBI (up 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and INFOSYS LTD.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,010 (up 0.7%). YES BANK (up 9.2%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,282 to 36,535, registering a gain of 5,253 points (up 16.7%).

HIND. CONSTRUCTION Financial Update...

HIND. CONSTRUCTION net profit down at Rs 197 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 313 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 24.2% to Rs 9.3 billion during the period as against Rs 12.3 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, HIND. CONSTRUCTION reported 109.7% increase in net profit to Rs 8.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.2 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 15.5% to Rs 99 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HIND. CONSTRUCTION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.2x.
