GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS Plunges by 6%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.2%

GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 160.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,725 (down 0.2%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS (down 5.5%) and SHRIRAM CITY UNION (down 6.8%).
BAJAJ HIND. SUGAR (up 11.6%) and TEJAS NETWORKS LTD (up 8.7%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS has moved down from Rs 240 to Rs 160, registering a loss of Rs 80 (down 33.4%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 13,931 to 13,725, loss of 206 points (down 1.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were HEG LTD (up 154.4%), L&T INFOTECH LTD (up 117.4%) and MINDTREE LTD (up 106.4%).
What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 34,712 (down 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 3.8%), ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 2.8%) and HDFC (up 2.7%). Other gainers include VEDANTA LTD (up 1.3%) and L&T (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and VEDANTA LTD.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,398 (down 0.2%). YES BANK (up 3.8%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 2.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,847 to 34,712, registering a gain of 2,865 points (up 8.1%).
GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS Financial Update...
GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS net profit stood at Rs 113 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 102 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 28.3% to Rs 1.0 billion during the period as against Rs 804.0 million in April-June 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS reported 23.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 430.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 565.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 0.5% to Rs 4 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 43.0x.
