SHREE CEMENT Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 2.2%

SHREE CEMENT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 15,218.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,611 (down 2.2%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are SHREE CEMENT (down 5.2%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (down 5.4%).
INTERGLOBE AVIATION (INDIGO) (up 6.5%) and HPCL (up 5.6%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, SHREE CEMENT has moved down from Rs 18,747 to Rs 15,218, registering a loss of Rs 3,530 (down 18.8%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 13,988 to 13,611, loss of 377 points (down 2.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were HEG LTD (up 221.9%), L&T INFOTECH LTD (up 115.2%) and SONATA SOFTWARE (up 111.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 34,064 (down 2.3%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 1.5%) and YES BANK (up 0.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and ONGC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,220 (down 2.4%). HPCL (up 5.0%) and ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,924 to 34,064, registering a gain of 2,140 points (up 6.3%).
SHREE CEMENT Financial Update...
SHREE CEMENT net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 33.7% to Rs 30.7 billion during the period as against Rs 23.0 billion in April-June 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, SHREE CEMENT reported 3.4% increase in net profit to Rs 13.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 13.4 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 5.2% to Rs 102 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SHREE CEMENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.0x.
