WOCKHARDT LTD. share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 470.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 14,252 (up 2.7%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are WOCKHARDT LTD. (up 5.0%) and DR. REDDYS LAB (up 5.3%).

JUBILANT LIFE SCIENCES (down 0.1%) and ERIS LIFESCIENCES LIMITED (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, WOCKHARDT LTD. has moved down from Rs 626 to Rs 470, registering a loss of Rs 156 (down 25.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 13,917 to 14,252, registering a gain of 335 points (up 2.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were PFIZER (up 68.6%), BIOCON LTD (up 67.2%) and DIVIS LABORATORIES (up 64.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 33,579 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ICICI BANK (up 8.2%), AXIS BANK (up 5.8%) and SBI (up 3.5%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 3.0%) and TATA MOTORS (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are AXIS BANK and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,091 (up 0.5%). ICICI BANK (up 8.5%) and AXIS BANK (up 5.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,147 to 33,579, registering a gain of 432 points (up 1.0%).

WOCKHARDT LTD. Financial Update...

WOCKHARDT LTD. net profit down at Rs 862 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 426 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 0.2% to Rs 10.1 billion during the period as against Rs 10.1 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, WOCKHARDT LTD. reported 36.6% increase in net profit to Rs 3.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.3 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 1.9% to Rs 39 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of WOCKHARDT LTD., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 17.9x.
