Indian Stock Market Updates October 31, 2018

IRB INFRA. Surges by 10%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.1%

IRB INFRA. share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 139.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 1,679 (down 0.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is IRB INFRA. (up 10.3%).

DLF LTD (down 0.3%) and PHOENIX MILL (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IRB INFRA. has moved down from Rs 237 to Rs 139, registering a loss of Rs 98 (down 41.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,234 to 1,679, loss of 555 points (down 25.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were PHOENIX MILL (up 8.1%) and OMAXE LTD (up 4.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 34,050 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INFOSYS LTD (up 3.2%), HDFC (up 2.0%) and AXIS BANK (up 1.9%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 1.8%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and RELIANCE IND..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,246 (down 0.1%). TECH MAHINDRA (up 6.5%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,266 to 34,050, registering a gain of 784 points (up 1.8%).

IRB INFRA. Financial Update...

IRB INFRA. net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 18.7% to Rs 15.4 billion during the period as against Rs 13.0 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, IRB INFRA. reported 10.8% increase in net profit to Rs 7.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 2.6% to Rs 57 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB INFRA., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.2x.
