DEEPAK FERTILISERS Surges by 10%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.5%

DEEPAK FERTILISERS share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 118.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,480 (up 0.5%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today is DEEPAK FERTILISERS (up 10.3%).
BLUE STAR and ABB INDIA LTD. are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, DEEPAK FERTILISERS has moved down from Rs 414 to Rs 118, registering a loss of Rs 297 (down 71.7%).
On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved down from 15,592 to 14,480, loss of 1,112 points (down 7.3%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were VINATI ORG. (up 63.3%), BATA INDIA (up 59.6%) and NIIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 52.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 36,474 (up 0.6%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 6.2%), HCL TECH. (up 1.9%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.5%). Other gainers include KOTAK MAH. BANK (up 1.3%) and TCS (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and SUN PHARMA.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,932 (up 0.6%). YES BANK (up 5.1%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,162 to 36,474, registering a gain of 312 points (up 0.7%).
DEEPAK FERTILISERS Financial Update...
DEEPAK FERTILISERS net profit down at Rs 195 million for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 570 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 7.5% to Rs 17.7 billion during the period as against Rs 16.4 billion in July-September 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, DEEPAK FERTILISERS reported 6.1% increase in net profit to Rs 1.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.6 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 38.5% to Rs 61 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of DEEPAK FERTILISERS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.8x.
