JAIPRAKASH ASSO. Plunges by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.4%

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 6.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 1,865 (up 1.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today is JAIPRAKASH ASSO. (down 5.0%).

OBEROI REALTY (up 2.1%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, JAIPRAKASH ASSO. has moved down from Rs 16 to Rs 6, registering a loss of Rs 10 (down 60.9%)..

The BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,420 to 1,865, loss of 555 points (down 22.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were OBEROI REALTY (up 6.6%) and PHOENIX MILL (up 3.6%).

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. Financial Update...

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. net profit declined 34.0% YoY to Rs 978 million for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 36.9% to Rs 15.2 billion during the period as against Rs 11.1 billion in October-December 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, JAIPRAKASH ASSO. reported 51.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 30.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 63.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 45.6% to Rs 78 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIPRAKASH ASSO., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 2.8x.
