The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.0%), HDFC (up 1.6%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.4%). Other gainers include ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.3%) and TATA MOTORS (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA MOTORS and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,663 . HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.4%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,371 to 38,939, registering a gain of 5,568 points (up 16.6%).
FORCE MOTORS net profit stood at Rs 273 million for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 146 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 10.2% to Rs 8.3 billion during the period as against Rs 7.5 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, FORCE MOTORS reported 17.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 1.0% to Rs 35 billion during FY18.
