RELIANCE INFRA Surges by 5%; BSE POWER Index Up 0.7%

RELIANCE INFRA share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 127.
Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 2,027 (up 0.7%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today is RELIANCE INFRA (up 5.0%).
SIEMENS (down 0.1%) and JSW ENERGY (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, RELIANCE INFRA has moved down from Rs 441 to Rs 127, registering a loss of Rs 314 (down 71.2%).
On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved down from 2,223 to 2,027, loss of 196 points (down 9.1%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 110.9%), ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 33.8%) and ABB INDIA (up 8.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,196 (up 0.3%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 3.8%), TATA MOTORS DVR (up 1.6%) and POWER GRID (up 1.2%). Other gainers include RELIANCE IND. (up 1.1%) and L&T (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,777 (up 0.4%). ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 5.1%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,617 to 39,196, registering a gain of 4,579 points (up 13.2%).
RELIANCE INFRA Financial Update...
RELIANCE INFRA net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 532 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 29.8% to Rs 41.2 billion during the period as against Rs 58.6 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE INFRA reported 468.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 966.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 3.7% to Rs 254 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 1.3x.
