3M INDIA Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.6%

3M INDIA share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 24,740.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,350 (up 0.6%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are 3M INDIA (down 5.5%) and PIRAMAL ENTERPRISES (down 6.1%).
ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 6.9%) and GHCL (up 6.7%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, 3M INDIA has moved up from Rs 20,456 to Rs 24,740, registering a gain of Rs 4,284 (up 20.9%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,809 to 15,350, registering a gain of 541 points (up 3.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were BALRAMPUR CHINI (up 118.9%), VINATI ORGANICS (up 101.8%) and ADANI POWER (up 96.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,103 (up 0.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 6.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,763 (up 1.0%). TATA STEEL (up 6.6%) and BPCL (up 3.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,501 to 39,103, registering a gain of 4,602 points (up 13.3%).
3M INDIA Financial Update...
3M INDIA net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 917 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 22.6% to Rs 7.9 billion during the period as against Rs 6.5 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, 3M INDIA reported 29.0% increase in net profit to Rs 3.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.4 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 5.0% to Rs 26 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of 3M INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 72.1x.
