BOMBAY DYEING Plunges by 13%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.9%

BOMBAY DYEING share price has plunged 13% and is presently trading at Rs 125.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,345 (down 0.9%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are BOMBAY DYEING (down 13.0%) and YES BANK (down 26.2%).
ORIENT CEMENT (up 6.0%) and BLUE STAR (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, BOMBAY DYEING has moved down from Rs 278 to Rs 125, registering a loss of Rs 153 (down 55.1%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,867 to 15,345, registering a gain of 478 points (up 3.2%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were BALRAMPUR CHINI (up 126.0%), VINATI ORGANICS (up 99.2%) and ADANI POWER (up 92.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,069 (down 0.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and AXIS BANK.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,749 (down 0.8%). HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.2%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,714 to 39,069, registering a gain of 4,355 points (up 11.7%).
BOMBAY DYEING Financial Update...
BOMBAY DYEING net profit down at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 34 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 33.3% to Rs 4.1 billion during the period as against Rs 6.2 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, BOMBAY DYEING reported 332.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.9 billion compared to net loss of Rs 808.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 32.8% to Rs 27 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of BOMBAY DYEING, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 146.7x.
