DEEPAK NITRITE Surges by 10%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.7%

DEEPAK NITRITE share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 303.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,156 (down 0.7%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today is DEEPAK NITRITE (up 10.4%).
SHILPA MEDICARE and ASAHI INDIA are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, DEEPAK NITRITE has moved up from Rs 258 to Rs 303, registering a gain of Rs 45 (up 17.0%).
On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 14,876 to 15,156, registering a gain of 280 points (up 1.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were BALRAMPUR CHINI (up 140.7%), VINATI ORGANICS (up 109.9%) and BATA INDIA (up 85.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 38,719 (down 0.8%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are WIPRO (up 0.9%), TCS (up 0.5%) and POWER GRID (up 0.3%). Other gainer include ASIAN PAINTS (up 0.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are WIPRO and TCS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,630 (down 0.9%). BPCL (up 1.6%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,103 to 38,719, registering a gain of 3,616 points (up 10.1%).
DEEPAK NITRITE Financial Update...
DEEPAK NITRITE net profit stood at Rs 316 million for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 203 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 21.9% to Rs 4.5 billion during the period as against Rs 3.7 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, DEEPAK NITRITE reported 205.8% increase in net profit to Rs 790.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 258.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 15.2% to Rs 17 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of DEEPAK NITRITE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 40.5x.
