GE POWER INDIA LTD Surges by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.1%

GE POWER INDIA LTD share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 931.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 20,025 (up 0.1%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is GE POWER INDIA LTD (up 5.3%).
SADBHAV ENGINEERING (down 0.1%) and AIA ENGINEERING (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, GE POWER INDIA LTD has moved up from Rs 833 to Rs 931, registering a gain of Rs 98 (up 11.8%).
On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 18,459 to 20,025, registering a gain of 1,566 points (up 8.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HAVELLS IND (up 43.7%), ABB INDIA (up 34.4%) and SIEMENS (up 28.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 40,196 (down 0.2%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 1.4%), M&M (up 0.5%) and TATA STEEL (up 0.5%). Other gainers include ITC (up 0.4%) and POWER GRID (up 0.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC BANK and HERO MOTOCORP.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,053 (down 0.3%). WIPRO (up 0.9%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,012 to 40,196, registering a gain of 5,184 points (up 14.8%).
GE POWER INDIA LTD Financial Update...
GE POWER INDIA LTD net profit declined 112.5% YoY to Rs 52 million for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 421 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 54.2% to Rs 5.6 billion during the period as against Rs 3.7 billion in July-September 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, GE POWER INDIA LTD reported 243.1% increase in net profit to Rs 1.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 493.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 34.2% to Rs 13 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of GE POWER INDIA LTD, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 365.8x.
