YES BANK Plunges by 5%; BSE BANKEX Index Down 0.3%

YES BANK share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 116.
Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 34,659 (down 0.3%).
Among the top losers in the BSE BANKEX Index today is YES BANK (down 5.0%).
INDUSIND BANK (up 1.3%) and SBI (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, YES BANK has moved down from Rs 336 to Rs 116, registering a loss of Rs 220 (down 65.5%)..
The BSE BANKEX has moved up from 29,710 to 34,659, registering a gain of 4,949 points (up 16.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE BANKEX Index stocks during this same period were AXIS BANK (up 48.6%), ICICI BANK (up 47.3%) and SBI (up 27.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,618 (down 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and VEDANTA LTD.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,828 (down 0.4%). UPL (up 4.2%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,547 to 39,618, registering a gain of 4,071 points (up 10.8%).
YES BANK Financial Update...
YES BANK net profit down at Rs 15 billion for the quarter ended March 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 10 billion a year ago. Operating income declined 1.3% to Rs 78.6 billion during the period as against Rs 79.6 billion in January-March 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, YES BANK reported 59.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 17.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 42.3 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 46.2% to Rs 296 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of YES BANK, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 2.9x.
