Indian Stock Market Updates June 26, 2019

BOMBAY BURMAH Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.3%

BOMBAY BURMAH share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 964.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,318 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today is BOMBAY BURMAH (down 5.1%).

RELIANCE INFRA (up 20.8%) and RELIANCE CAPITAL (up 12.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BOMBAY BURMAH has moved down from Rs 1,482 to Rs 964, registering a loss of Rs 518 (down 34.9%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,646 to 15,318, registering a gain of 672 points (up 4.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 183.8%), VINATI ORGANICS (up 117.4%) and INFO EDGE (up 88.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,599 (up 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are POWER GRID (up 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and POWER GRID.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,839 (up 0.2%). POWER GRID (up 3.6%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,470 to 39,599, registering a gain of 4,129 points (up 11.4%).

BOMBAY BURMAH Financial Update...

BOMBAY BURMAH net profit stood at Rs 33 million for the quarter ended June 2013, compared to a profit of Rs 22 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 23.3% to Rs 678.0 million during the period as against Rs 550.0 million in April-June 2012.

For the year ended March 1999, BOMBAY BURMAH reported 100.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 0.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 81.0 million during FY98.

Revenue of the company grew 1.3% to Rs 1 billion during FY99.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BOMBAY BURMAH, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 166.5x.
