IRB INFRA. Surges by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.5%

IRB INFRA. share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 103.
Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,156 (up 1.5%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is IRB INFRA. (up 5.5%).
MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 2.0%) and GODREJ PROPERTIES (down 3.1%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, IRB INFRA. has moved down from Rs 220 to Rs 103, registering a loss of Rs 117 (down 53.4%).
On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,129 to 2,156, registering a gain of 27 points (up 1.1%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 28.6%), OBEROI REALTY (up 19.5%) and SUNTECK REALTY (up 11.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,599 (up 0.3%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are POWER GRID (up 3.5%), SUN PHARMA (up 3.5%) and YES BANK (up 2.7%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 1.3%) and HDFC BANK (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and POWER GRID.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,839 (up 0.3%). SUN PHARMA (up 3.5%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,470 to 39,599, registering a gain of 4,129 points (up 11.5%).
IRB INFRA. Financial Update...
IRB INFRA. net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 8.9% to Rs 19.5 billion during the period as against Rs 17.9 billion in January-March 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, IRB INFRA. reported 10.8% increase in net profit to Rs 7.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.2 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 2.6% to Rs 57 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB INFRA., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.2x.
