CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL Surges by 10%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.3%

CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 20.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,701 (up 0.3%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL (up 9.8%).
SCHAEFFLER INDIA LTD and LAKSHMI MACHINE (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL has moved down from Rs 55 to Rs 20, registering a loss of Rs 35 (down 64.3%).
On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,532 to 18,701, registering a gain of 1,169 points (up 6.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were KALPATARU POWER (up 45.2%), HAVELLS IND (up 30.3%) and SIEMENS (up 29.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,274 (up 0.3%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.2%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.7%) and SBI (up 1.2%). Other gainers include ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.1%) and VEDANTA LTD (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,704 (up 0.3%). UPL (up 2.5%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,324 to 39,274, registering a gain of 2,950 points (up 8.1%).
CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL Financial Update...
CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL net profit down at Rs 686 million for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 695 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 83.3% to Rs 17.2 billion during the period as against Rs 9.4 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL reported 66.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 512.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 1.5 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 6.1% to Rs 63 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.9x.
