CAPLIN POINT Surges by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.8%

CAPLIN POINT share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 422.
Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 12,716 (up 0.8%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are CAPLIN POINT (up 5.1%) and THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.7%).
CIPLA and SYNGENE INTERNATIONAL (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, CAPLIN POINT has moved down from Rs 432 to Rs 422, registering a loss of Rs 10 (down 2.2%).
On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved down from 14,123 to 12,716, loss of 1,407 points (down 10.2%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (up 105.3%), APOLLO HOSPITALS (up 43.9%) and DIVIS LABORATORIES (up 41.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 37,576 (up 0.1%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 5.0%), YES BANK (up 4.1%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 3.8%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 3.5%) and SUN PHARMA (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,145 (up 0.3%). YES BANK (up 5.9%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 5.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,494 to 37,576, registering a gain of 82 points (up -0.2%).
CAPLIN POINT Financial Update...
CAPLIN POINT net profit stood at Rs 111 million for the quarter ended March 2015, compared to a profit of Rs 105 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 4.5% to Rs 636.0 million during the period as against Rs 609.0 million in January-March 2014.
For the year ended June 2011, CAPLIN POINT reported 90.9% increase in net profit to Rs 63.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 33.0 million during FY10.
Revenue of the company grew 34.1% to Rs 779 million during FY11.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CAPLIN POINT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 17.2x.
