CENTRAL BANK Surges by 10%; BSE BANKEX Index Up 0.2%

CENTRAL BANK share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 19.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 31,774 (up 0.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE BANKEX Index today is CENTRAL BANK (up 10.1%).

SBI (down 0.2%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CENTRAL BANK has moved down from Rs 69 to Rs 19, registering a loss of Rs 50 (down 72.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX has moved up from 31,423 to 31,774, registering a gain of 351 points (up 1.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE BANKEX Index stocks during this same period were ICICI BANK (up 30.7%), KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 15.4%) and AXIS BANK (up 12.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 37,067 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 6.1%), INDUSIND BANK (up 2.1%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.0%). Other gainers include HUL (up 1.7%) and SUN PHARMA (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,970 . YES BANK (up 6.6%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,692 to 37,067, registering a gain of -625 points (up -1.8%).
