FUTURE CONSUMER Plunges by 6%; BSE 500 Index Down 1.3%

FUTURE CONSUMER share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 31.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,058 (down 1.3%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are FUTURE CONSUMER (down 5.7%) and IFB INDUSTRIES LTD (down 6.8%).
BRITANNIA (up 2.9%) and WELSPUN INDIA (up 2.8%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, FUTURE CONSUMER has moved down from Rs 46 to Rs 31, registering a loss of Rs 15 (down 32.0%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 15,640 to 14,058, loss of 1,582 points (down 10.1%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 74.3%), SPICEJET (up 62.4%) and VINATI ORGANICS (up 56.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 37,088 (down 1.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TCS (up 1.8%), HUL (up 1.2%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.2%). Other gainer include BAJAJ AUTO (up 0.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HUL and TCS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,908 (down 1.3%). BRITANNIA (up 2.9%) and TCS (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,286 to 37,088, registering a gain of -1,198 points (up -4.3%).
FUTURE CONSUMER Financial Update...
FUTURE CONSUMER net profit down at Rs 440 million for the quarter ended March 2015, compared to a loss of Rs 213 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 3.0% to Rs 3.6 billion during the period as against Rs 3.7 billion in January-March 2014.
For the year ended March 2014, FUTURE CONSUMER reported 80.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 153.0 million compared to net loss of Rs 766.0 million during FY13.
Revenue of the company grew 3.2% to Rs 9 billion during FY14.
The current Price to earnings ratio of FUTURE CONSUMER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 47.8x.
