HONEYWELL AUTOMATION Surges by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 2.0%

HONEYWELL AUTOMATION share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 24,445.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 17,400 (up 2.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 5.4%) and SADBHAV ENGINEERING (up 6.9%).

SUZLON ENERGY (down 0.2%) and FINOLEX CABLES (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HONEYWELL AUTOMATION has moved up from Rs 21,952 to Rs 24,445, registering a gain of Rs 2,492 (up 11.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 18,883 to 17,400, loss of 1,483 points (down 8.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were KALPATARU POWER (up 28.7%), SIEMENS (up 16.5%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 11.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 37,732 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA MOTORS (up 7.2%), TATA MOTORS DVR (up 6.0%) and TATA STEEL (up 4.5%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 3.2%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,142 (up 0.5%). TATA MOTORS (up 7.2%) and BRITANNIA (up 6.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,694 to 37,732, registering a gain of -962 points (up -2.8%).

HONEYWELL AUTOMATION Financial Update...

HONEYWELL AUTOMATION net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 856 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 5.6% to Rs 8.6 billion during the period as against Rs 8.1 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, HONEYWELL AUTOMATION reported 47.4% increase in net profit to Rs 2.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.7 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 10.4% to Rs 27 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HONEYWELL AUTOMATION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 56.7x.
