UFLEX LTD. Plunges by 6%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.4%

UFLEX LTD. share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 234.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,091 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are UFLEX LTD. (down 6.2%) and ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (down 5.3%).

BANK OF MAHARASHTRA (up 8.3%) and GUJARAT ALKALIES (up 6.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, UFLEX LTD. has moved down from Rs 345 to Rs 234, registering a loss of Rs 111 (down 32.2%)..

The BSE 500 has moved down from 15,377 to 14,091, loss of 1,286 points (down 8.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 110.6%), INTERGLOBE AVIATION (INDIGO) (up 88.9%) and VINATI ORGANICS (up 76.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 36,621 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HUL and ASIAN PAINTS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,873 (up 0.5%). BPCL (up 3.0%) and IOC (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,586 to 36,621, registering a gain of -965 points (up -2.6%).

UFLEX LTD. Financial Update...

UFLEX LTD. net profit stood at Rs 909 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 540 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 0.1% to Rs 19.8 billion during the period as against Rs 19.8 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, UFLEX LTD. reported 11.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.5 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 2.4% to Rs 71 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of UFLEX LTD., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.1x.
