PHOENIX MILL Surges by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.0%

PHOENIX MILL share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 760.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,083 (up 2.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is PHOENIX MILL (up 5.8%).

Over the last one year, PHOENIX MILL has moved up from Rs 627 to Rs 760, registering a gain of Rs 133 (up 21.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 1,940 to 2,083, registering a gain of 143 points (up 7.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 72.2%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 37.2%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 26.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,346 (up 2.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ITC (up 7.7%), INDUSIND BANK (up 7.0%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 6.8%). Other gainers include L&T (up 6.2%) and HUL (up 5.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,666 (up 2.3%). ASIAN PAINTS (up 7.4%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,842 to 39,346, registering a gain of 2,504 points (up 5.3%).

PHOENIX MILL Financial Update...

PHOENIX MILL net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 780 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 39.6% to Rs 6.2 billion during the period as against Rs 4.4 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, PHOENIX MILL reported 11.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.9 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 11.2% to Rs 16 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PHOENIX MILL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 20.6x.
