Indian Stock Market Updates June 8, 2018

SUVEN LIFE surges by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 1.9%

SUVEN LIFE share price has Zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 215.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 13,239 (Up 1.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are SUVEN LIFE (up 5.31%) and AJANTA PHARMA (up 5.40%).

ALKEM LABORATORIES (down 0.12%) and NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA LTD (down 0.15%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SUVEN LIFE has moved up from Rs 187 to Rs 215, registering a gain of Rs 28 (up 14.50%)

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved down from 13,952 to 13,239, loss of 713 points (down 5.38%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were BIOCON LTD (up 83.77%), DIVIS LABORATORIES (up 64.87%) and PFIZER (up 57.91%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 35,415 (down 0.33%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 3.38%), DR. REDDYS LAB (up 2.55%) and TATA MOTORS (up 1.59%). Other gainers include TCS (up 0.93%) and TATA STEEL (up 0.61%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA MOTORS and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,750 (down 0.30%). SUN PHARMA (up 3.46%) and DR. REDDYS LAB (up 2.64%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,271 to 35,415, registering a gain of 4,144 points (up 13.03%).

SUVEN LIFE Financial Update...

SUVEN LIFE net profit grew 180.7% YoY to Rs 625 million for the quarter ended March 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 346 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 130.6% to Rs 2.1 billion during the period as against Rs 1.6 billion in January-March 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, SUVEN LIFE reported 121.4% increase in net profit to Rs 872.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 718.0 million during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 108.8% to Rs 5 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SUVEN LIFE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 17.2x.
