VIP INDUSTRIES Plunges by 5%; BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index Up 0.4%

VIP INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 499.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index is at 25,892 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index today is VIP INDUSTRIES (down 5.2%).

RAJESH EXPORTS (up 1.7%) and VOLTAS (up 0.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, VIP INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 473 to Rs 499, registering a gain of Rs 26 (up 5.5%)..

The BSE CONSUMER DURABLES has moved up from 19,828 to 25,892, registering a gain of 6,064 points (up 30.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index stocks during this same period were TITAN (up 60.5%), BLUE STAR (up 26.0%) and SYMPHONY (up 25.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 38,748 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HCL TECHNOLOGIES and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,470 (up 0.3%). ICICI BANK (up 1.1%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,652 to 38,748, registering a gain of 2,096 points (up 5.7%).

VIP INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

VIP INDUSTRIES net profit stood at Rs 351 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 238 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 31.2% to Rs 5.6 billion during the period as against Rs 4.3 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, VIP INDUSTRIES reported 14.6% increase in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.3 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.0% to Rs 18 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VIP INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.1x.
