LAKSHMI MACHINE Plunges by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.6%

LAKSHMI MACHINE share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 3,575.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,571 (down 0.6%).
Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is LAKSHMI MACHINE (down 5.3%).
CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL (up 4.9%) and SUZLON ENERGY (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, LAKSHMI MACHINE has moved down from Rs 6,164 to Rs 3,575, registering a loss of Rs 2,589 (down 42.0%)..
The BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 16,994 to 18,571, registering a gain of 1,577 points (up 9.3%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were SIEMENS (up 61.1%), KALPATARU POWER (up 47.3%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 36.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 38,311 (down 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 23.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,370 (down 0.3%). YES BANK (up 23.8%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,526 to 38,311, registering a gain of 1,785 points (up 4.3%).
LAKSHMI MACHINE Financial Update...
LAKSHMI MACHINE net profit down at Rs 141 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 624 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 30.2% to Rs 4.5 billion during the period as against Rs 6.5 billion in April-June 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, LAKSHMI MACHINE reported 1.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.2 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 2.6% to Rs 27 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of LAKSHMI MACHINE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.6x.
