INDRAPRASTHA GAS at All Time High; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.5%

INDRAPRASTHA GAS share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 380 (up 2.1%).
Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 14,877 (up 1.5%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 2.1%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 0.4%).
Over the last one year, INDRAPRASTHA GAS has moved up from Rs 230 to Rs 380, registering a gain of Rs 150 (up 65.3%).
The BSE OIL & GAS has moved up from 12,880 to 14,877, registering a gain of 1,997 points (up 15.2%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were BPCL (up 75.8%), INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 65.3%) and HPCL (up 51.1%).
What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 38,384 (up 0.3%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA MOTORS DVR (up 5.8%), TATA MOTORS (up 5.4%) and ONGC (up 4.2%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 2.9%) and YES BANK (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,382 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 5.4%), ONGC (up 4.2%) and SUN PHARMA (up 2.7%). Other gainers include JSW STEEL (up 2.7%) and TATA STEEL (up 2.5%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,001 to 38,384, registering a gain of 4,383 points (up 12.5%).
INDRAPRASTHA GAS Financial Update...
INDRAPRASTHA GAS net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 4.8% to Rs 17.4 billion during the period as against Rs 16.6 billion in April-June 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, INDRAPRASTHA GAS reported 19.5% increase in net profit to Rs 6.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.4 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 20.1% to Rs 51 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of INDRAPRASTHA GAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.1x.
