Indian Stock Market Updates October 22, 2019

GRANULES INDIA Surges by 11%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 2.1%

GRANULES INDIA share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 114.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 12,898 (up 2.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today is GRANULES INDIA (up 11.4%).

GSK PHARMA (down 0.4%) and PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRANULES INDIA has moved up from Rs 92 to Rs 114, registering a gain of Rs 21 (up 22.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved down from 14,550 to 12,898, loss of 1,652 points (down 11.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were DR. LAL PATHLABS LTD (up 61.4%), PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (up 55.9%) and ABBOTT INDIA (up 51.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,426 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 7.9%), ICICI BANK (up 4.6%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 1.9%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.7%) and SBI (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,714 (up 0.1%). YES BANK (up 7.9%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,316 to 39,426, registering a gain of 5,110 points (up 14.4%).

GRANULES INDIA Financial Update...

GRANULES INDIA net profit stood at Rs 229 million for the quarter ended June 2014, compared to a profit of Rs 218 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 9.5% to Rs 3.1 billion during the period as against Rs 2.8 billion in April-June 2013.
