J.B.CHEMICALS Plunges by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 0.2%

J.B.CHEMICALS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 359.
Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 12,935 (down 0.2%).
Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today is J.B.CHEMICALS (down 5.0%).
TORRENT PHARMA (up 5.8%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 5.4%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, J.B.CHEMICALS has moved up from Rs 289 to Rs 359, registering a gain of Rs 70 (up 24.3%)..
The BSE HEALTHCARE has moved down from 14,177 to 12,935, loss of 1,242 points (down 8.8%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (up 66.3%), DR. LAL PATHLABS LTD (up 65.4%) and ABBOTT INDIA (up 56.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,327 (down 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are VEDANTA LTD and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,680 (down 0.4%). HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.2%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,847 to 39,327, registering a gain of 5,480 points (up 14.9%).
J.B.CHEMICALS Financial Update...
J.B.CHEMICALS net profit stood at Rs 591 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 464 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 16.7% to Rs 4.1 billion during the period as against Rs 3.5 billion in April-June 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, J.B.CHEMICALS reported 24.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 3.3% to Rs 14 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of J.B.CHEMICALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 14.1x.
