JAIPRAKASH ASSO. Surges by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.2%

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,049 (up 0.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is JAIPRAKASH ASSO. (up 5.2%).

OBEROI REALTY (down 1.1%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 2.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, JAIPRAKASH ASSO. has moved down from Rs 6 to Rs 2, registering a loss of Rs 4 (down 60.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA MOTORS DVR (up 2.9%), TATA MOTORS (up 2.4%) and INFOSYS (up 0.9%). Other gainers include HERO MOTOCORP (up 0.8%) and SBI (up 0.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA MOTORS and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,644 (up 0.1%). TATA MOTORS (up 2.8%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,067 to 39,332, registering a gain of 5,265 points (up 15.3%).

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. Financial Update...

JAIPRAKASH ASSO. net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 978 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 20.9% to Rs 12.0 billion during the period as against Rs 15.2 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, JAIPRAKASH ASSO. reported 25.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 22.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 30.4 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 39.4% to Rs 108 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIPRAKASH ASSO., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 0.9x.
