LINDE INDIA Surges by 5%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.5%

LINDE INDIA share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 573.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 15,254 (up 0.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today is LINDE INDIA (up 5.0%).

PETRONET LNG (down 0.2%) and RELIANCE IND. (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, LINDE INDIA has moved down from Rs 583 to Rs 573, registering a loss of Rs 10 (down 1.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved up from 13,585 to 15,254, registering a gain of 1,669 points (up 12.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were BPCL (up 69.9%), INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 54.9%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 31.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 40,386 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 3.5%), YES BANK (up 2.7%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 1.0%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS DVR (up 0.9%) and TATA MOTORS (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,920 (down 0.1%). ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 3.8%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,159 to 40,386, registering a gain of 5,227 points (up 14.6%).

LINDE INDIA Financial Update...

LINDE INDIA net profit stood at Rs 202 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 154 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 11.5% to Rs 5.0 billion during the period as against Rs 5.6 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended December 2018, LINDE INDIA reported 18.5% increase in net profit to Rs 257.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 217.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.6% to Rs 22 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LINDE INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 59.7x.
