The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 4.6%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.7%) and NTPC (up 1.4%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS (up 0.8%) and COAL INDIA (up 0.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS DVR.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,147 (down 0.5%). BHARTI INFRATEL (up 8.8%) and YES BANK (up 4.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,717 to 41,143, registering a gain of 5,426 points (up 14.5%).
JSW ENERGY net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 12.5% to Rs 21.2 billion during the period as against Rs 24.2 billion in July-September 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, JSW ENERGY reported 10.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 5.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.2 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 2.6% to Rs 80 billion during FY18.
