PHOENIX MILL at All Time High; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.3%

PHOENIX MILL share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 799 (up 3.4%).

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,217 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today are PHOENIX MILL (up 3.4%) and GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 0.1%).

OMAXE LTD and SOBHA LIMITED (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PHOENIX MILL has moved up from Rs 618 to Rs 799, registering a gain of Rs 180 (up 28.0%).

The BSE REALTY has moved up from 1,830 to 2,217, registering a gain of 387 points (up 20.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 47.3%), GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 37.6%) and DLF (up 28.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 41,185 (down 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TCS (up 2.7%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.6%) and HDFC (up 1.0%). Other gainers include KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 0.8%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and POWER GRID.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,135 (down 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TCS (up 2.7%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.7%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.7%). Other gainers include GAIL (up 1.3%) and HDFC (up 1.1%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,930 to 41,185, registering a gain of 5,255 points (up 13.9%).

PHOENIX MILL Financial Update...

PHOENIX MILL net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 780 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 39.6% to Rs 6.2 billion during the period as against Rs 4.4 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, PHOENIX MILL reported 11.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.9 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 11.2% to Rs 16 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PHOENIX MILL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.5x.
