PHOENIX MILL at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 1.0%

PHOENIX MILL share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 888 (up 0.4%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,938 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are PHOENIX MILL (up 0.4%) and PTC INDIA LTD (up 12.1%).

YES BANK (down 5.0%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 5.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PHOENIX MILL has moved up from Rs 572 to Rs 888, registering a gain of Rs 316 (up 54.75%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,460 to 15,938, registering a gain of 1,478 points (up 10.1%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE NIPPON LIFE ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD (up 119.0%), JK CEMENT (up 81.3%) and DEEPAK NITRITE (up 78.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 41,893 (up 0.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INFOSYS (up 3.2%), SUN PHARMA (up 1.9%) and COAL INDIA (up 1.8%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.0%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and INFOSYS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,338 (up 0.6%). INFOSYS (up 4.0%) and COAL INDIA (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,106 to 41,893, registering a gain of 5,787 points (up 15.9%).

PHOENIX MILL Financial Update...

PHOENIX MILL net profit down at Rs 643 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 780 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 5.8% to Rs 4.2 billion during the period as against Rs 4.4 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, PHOENIX MILL reported 11.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.9 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 11.2% to Rs 16 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PHOENIX MILL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 24.1x.
