GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.5%

GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 139.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,328 (up 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS (down 5.0%) and HERITAGE FOOD (down 5.2%).

SUVEN LIFESCIENCES (up 9.9%) and INFO EDGE (up 5.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS has moved up from Rs 110 to Rs 139, registering a gain of Rs 29 (up 26.0%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,362 to 15,328, registering a gain of 966 points (up 6.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 438.0%), NIPPON LIFE INDIA ASSET MANAGEMENT (up 150.3%) and GUJARAT GAS (up 124.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,923 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HUL (up 3.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,721 (up 0.4%). HUL (up 3.8%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 3.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,469 to 39,923, registering a gain of 3,454 points (up 9.4%).

GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS Financial Update...

GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS net profit stood at Rs 179 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 57 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 215.5% to Rs 3.3 billion during the period as against Rs 1.0 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS reported 53.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 199.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 430.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 8.9% to Rs 4 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.0x.
