Indian Stock Market Updates February 5, 2020

J.B.CHEMICALS at All Time High; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.3%

J.B.CHEMICALS share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 524 (up 4.3%).

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 14,013 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are J.B.CHEMICALS (up 4.3%) and ABBOTT INDIA (up 0.1%).

NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA LTD and CIPLA (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, J.B.CHEMICALS has moved up from Rs 314 to Rs 524, registering a gain of Rs 210 (up 65.8%).

The BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 13,817 to 14,013, registering a gain of 196 points (up 0.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA LTD (up 87.9%), GRANULES INDIA (up 80.0%) and J.B.CHEMICALS (up 65.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 41,024 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.8%), L&T (up 1.7%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 1.3%). Other gainers include HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.3%) and TCS (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and BHARTI AIRTEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,050 (up 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 7.7%), YES BANK (up 6.0%) and BPCL (up 4.6%). Other gainers include UPL (up 2.2%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.8%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,583 to 41,024, registering a gain of 4,441 points (up 11.9%).

J.B.CHEMICALS Financial Update...

J.B.CHEMICALS net profit stood at Rs 591 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 464 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 16.7% to Rs 4.1 billion during the period as against Rs 3.5 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, J.B.CHEMICALS reported 24.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.3% to Rs 14 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of J.B.CHEMICALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.8x.
