Indian Stock Market Updates February 10, 2020

HIMATSINGKA SEIDE Plunges by 8%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.1%

HIMATSINGKA SEIDE share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 120.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,889 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are HIMATSINGKA SEIDE (down 7.6%) and VINATI ORGANICS (down 5.1%).

LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (up 10.0%) and GUJARAT NARMADA (up 9.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HIMATSINGKA SEIDE has moved down from Rs 189 to Rs 120, registering a loss of Rs 69 (down 36.4%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,500 to 15,889, registering a gain of 1,389 points (up 9.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 538.4%), NIPPON LIFE INDIA AMC (up 147.3%) and ICICI SECURITIES LTD (up 142.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 41,172 (down 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HUL (up 0.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are L&T and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,104 (down 0.3%). UPL (up 4.2%) and YES BANK (up 3.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,971 to 41,172, registering a gain of 4,201 points (up 11.0%).

HIMATSINGKA SEIDE Financial Update...

HIMATSINGKA SEIDE net profit down at Rs 341 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 512 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 5.1% to Rs 6.4 billion during the period as against Rs 6.8 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, HIMATSINGKA SEIDE reported 10.7% increase in net profit to Rs 2.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 5.2% to Rs 22 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HIMATSINGKA SEIDE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.3x.
