STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Plunges by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 1.5%

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 536.
Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 14,483 (down 1.5%).
Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (down 5.1%) and AJANTA PHARMA (down 5.0%).
SUVEN LIFESCIENCES (up 5.0%) and BLISS GVS PHARMA (up 3.9%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE has moved up from Rs 410 to Rs 536, registering a gain of Rs 127 (up 30.9%)..
The BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 13,744 to 14,483, registering a gain of 739 points (up 5.4%) during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 41,420 (down 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TITAN (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are BHARTI AIRTEL and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,160 (down 0.5%). TITAN (up 1.7%) and NESTLE (up 1.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,876 to 41,420, registering a gain of 5,544 points (up 14.4%).
STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Financial Update...
STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 316 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 7.8% to Rs 7.3 billion during the period as against Rs 7.9 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE reported 58.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.2 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 28 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.9x.
