Indian Stock Market Updates March 2, 2020

KIOCL Surges by 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 2.3%

KIOCL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 99.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 8,535 (up 2.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today are KIOCL (up 5.3%) and JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 5.8%).

Over the last one year, KIOCL has moved down from Rs 127 to Rs 99, registering a loss of Rs 28 (down 22.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved down from 10,767 to 8,535, loss of 2,232 points (down 21.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL Index stocks during this same period were JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 4.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,083 (up 1.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ICICI BANK (up 3.7%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.7%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 2.6%). Other gainers include HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.2%) and TCS (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,433 (up 1.5%). VEDANTA LTD (up 3.8%) and ICICI BANK (up 3.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,867 to 39,083, registering a gain of 3,216 points (up 8.3%).
