Indian Stock Market Updates March 2, 2020

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD Surges by 5%; BSE POWER Index Up 2.3%

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 184.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,766 (up 2.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today are INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD (up 5.3%) and ADANI POWER (up 5.6%).

THERMAX (down 0.2%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD has moved up from Rs 153 to Rs 184, registering a gain of Rs 31 (up 20.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved down from 1,829 to 1,766, loss of 63 points (down 4.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were SIEMENS (up 34.5%), GMR INFRA (up 28.4%) and TORRENT POWER LTD (up 27.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,083 (up 1.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ICICI BANK (up 4.4%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 4.3%) and INFOSYS (up 4.1%). Other gainers include NESTLE (up 3.1%) and NTPC (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,433 (up 1.6%). EICHER MOTOR (up 4.6%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 4.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,867 to 39,083, registering a gain of 3,216 points (up 8.5%).
