PI INDUSTRIES Plunges by 10%; BSE 500 Index Down 7.6%

PI INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 1,490.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,230 (down 7.6%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are PI INDUSTRIES (down 10.2%) and ATUL (down 11.1%).
LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (up 4.9%) and CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL (up 4.8%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, PI INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 1,011 to Rs 1,490, registering a gain of Rs 479 (up 47.4%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 14,798 to 13,230, loss of 1,568 points (down 10.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 243.2%), NAVIN FLUORINE (up 113.4%) and ABBOTT INDIA (up 84.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 34,472 (down 7.0%).
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,041 (down 7.1%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 37,054 to 34,472, registering a loss of 2,582 points (down 10.41%).
PI INDUSTRIES Financial Update...
PI INDUSTRIES net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 20.1% to Rs 8.5 billion during the period as against Rs 7.1 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, PI INDUSTRIES reported 11.6% increase in net profit to Rs 4.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.7 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 23.1% to Rs 28 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of PI INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 39.8x.
