Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG Index today are GUJ.AMB.EXP. (down 9.3%), RADICO KHAITAN (down 9.1%) and DFM FOODS (down 7.8%). Other losers include BALRAMPUR CHINI (down 7.7%) and DHAMPUR SUGAR MILLS (down 7.5%).
VADILAL INDUSTRIES (up 7.8%) and KOKUYO CAMLIN (up 7.2%) are among the top gainers today.
In the meantime, the NIFTY FMCG has plunged 3.9% to 25,624.
The top losers in the NIFTY FMCG include REI AGRO LTD. (down 20.0%), MIC ELECTRONICS (down 10.0%) and EMAMI LTD (down 5.7%). Other losers include TAMILNADU PETROPRODUCTS (down 5.6%) and PG ELECTROPLAST (down 5.0%).
Over the last one year, the BSE FMCG Index has moved down from 11,815 to 9,702, loss of Rs 2,113 (down 17.9%).
The top losers among the BSE FMCG during this same period were MCLEOD RUSSEL (down 97.3%), MANPASAND BEVERAGES (down 93.4%) and SANWARIA AGRO OILS (down 88.8%).
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex has plunged 4.4% to 33,103.
