SHREE RENUKA SUGARS plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.2%

SHREE RENUKA SUGARS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 14.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,658 (Down 0.2%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today is SHREE RENUKA SUGARS (down 5.19%)
IDBI BANK (up 3.71%) and GODFREY PHILLIPS (up 2.78%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, SHREE RENUKA SUGARS has moved up from Rs 13 to Rs 14, registering a gain of Rs 1 (up 10.34%).

The BSE Sensex is at 35,444 (down 0.12%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 1.84%), ITC LTD (up 0.90%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 0.80%). Other gainers include L&T (up 0.60%) and HDFC (up 0.53%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA STEEL and SUN PHARMA.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,745 (down 0.14%). BHARTI INFRATEL (up 1.93%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,284 to 35,444, registering a gain of 4,160 points (up 13.13%).
SHREE RENUKA SUGARS Financial Update...
SHREE RENUKA SUGARS net profit declined 81.2% YoY to Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended March 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 23 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 35.7% to Rs 11.3 billion during the period as against Rs 17.6 billion in January-March 2017.
For the year ended March 2017, SHREE RENUKA SUGARS reported 49.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 10.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 21.0 billion during FY16.
Revenue of the company grew 19.9% to Rs 119 billion during FY17.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SHREE RENUKA SUGARS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 0.4x.
