Indian Stock Market Updates March 31, 2020

PHOENIX MILL Surges by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.4%

PHOENIX MILL share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 570.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 1,360 (up 1.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is PHOENIX MILL (up 5.6%).

OMAXE LTD (down 0.4%) and OBEROI REALTY (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PHOENIX MILL has moved down from Rs 659 to Rs 570, registering a loss of Rs 89 (down 13.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,061 to 1,360, loss of 701 points (down 34.7%) during the last 12 months.

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 29,369 (up 3.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.9%), ONGC (up 5.9%) and ITC (up 5.3%). Other gainers include RELIANCE IND. (up 5.1%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 5.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and RELIANCE IND..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 8,567 (up 3.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BPCL (up 12.4%), GAIL (up 7.4%) and WIPRO (up 6.8%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 6.4%) and IOC (up 6.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,872 to 29,369, registering a loss of 9,503 points (down 24.63%).

PHOENIX MILL Financial Update...

PHOENIX MILL net profit stood at Rs 965 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 780 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 16.2% to Rs 5.1 billion during the period as against Rs 4.4 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, PHOENIX MILL reported 11.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.9 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 11.2% to Rs 16 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PHOENIX MILL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.0x.
