The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 7.2%), RELIANCE IND. (up 6.8%) and ITC (up 6.3%). Other gainers include HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.8%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 5.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are BHARTI AIRTEL and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 8,622 (up 4.0%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BPCL (up 12.5%), BRITANNIA (up 8.5%) and ONGC (up 7.6%). Other gainers include GAIL (up 7.6%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 7.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,872 to 29,575, registering a loss of 9,297 points (down 24.16%).
SUN PHARMA net profit down at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 15 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 5.4% to Rs 81.5 billion during the period as against Rs 77.4 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, SUN PHARMA reported 25.7% increase in net profit to Rs 44.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 35.2 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 9.7% to Rs 291 billion during FY19.
